For the purpose of activating "GARANZIA3" the warranty extension form must be filled out completely and then sent with a copy of the sales receipt and the original manufacturer's warranty, by registered return receipt post, to Business Company S.p.A. within and no later than one year from the date of purchase of the consumer electronics product(s) with a gross unit value greater than 50.00 euros.
With the conveyance of "GARANZIA3" the Business Company S.p.A. will stipulate as contracting agent, on behalf of the customer, an insurance contract which will guarantee the latter, within the limits of the general policy conditions, which may be found on the web site, www.garanzia3.it, the continuation of the warranty by way of the repair and/or replacement of the product.
The aim of "GARANZIA3" is the continuation of the warranty period beginning from the first day after the "statutory guarantee" expires as indicated in the Legislative Decree 24/02 and for a period not greater than 60 months from the purchase of the product.
The warranty extension will be provided with the same terms and conditions indicated in the original warranty issued by the manufacturer and in force at the moment of purchase of the product. Repairs for each individual device, within the term of the effectiveness of this warranty extension, cannot have a cost greater than that indicated in the coupon equal to 500.00 / 1000.00 / 2000.00 / 5000.00 euros (depending on the type of policy chosen).
Any damages or faults, caused in any case, by negligence of customer/insured fault or due to the normal wear of the components, that are excluded from the original manufacturer's warranty are also excluded from the warranty extension.
In the event that this last possibility were to occur, Business Company S.p.A. will see to the immediate communication of an estimate of expense for the repair of the product.
No deductible chargeable to the client is foreseen for the repair of the product.
During the effective period of the "statutory warranty", Business Company S.p.A. will provide customers with information support aimed at the proper utilisation of the warranty issued by the manufacturer.
The customer, beginning from the first day after the expiry date of the "statutory warranty", utilising "GARANZIA3" will be able to have the product repaired without any additional cost.
In the event that the product were to not be repairable or the repair were to not be economically feasible the client may receive a refund of the purchase price, less 10% of that amount for each year of ownership.
The customer, at the moment of the malfunction of the product, beginning from the end of the statutory warranty, must call the toll free number 800090737 (Mon thru Fri - from10:00 am to 5:00 pm) and provide contact information and the details of the "GARANZIA3" policy. "GARANZIA3 customer" service will see to the verification of the details of the warranty extension and will communicate the terms and procedures to be performed by the client for the repair of the product.
